Day 22 2/1/12

Oh my gosh its the first day of February! How do I celebrate? Oh you know I just take the occasional "trip" in the middle of the street while walking to go to the tube station. You know... No biggie..... Yea that's like the 10th time I fell this trip so laugh it up because all your getting our the mental pictures you paint for yourself... Sorry no actual video tapes were used to record these historic falling moments. Now who cares about that. Today we were going to Eaton and Winsor Castle. Mind you my spelling my not be correct about the places. When we got to the Winsor Castle I could not believe how beautiful and huge it was! It was quite beautiful and I do have some pictures which I plan to put on Facebook soon! It is the place where the queen calls home. Everyone was mentioning how they would call it home but I was thinking to myself I would never want to live in a place that big. I prefer something a little simpler because it made me think why would one person get to live in a such a huge home when there are plenty of people out there who could only dream of having a home. We went inside to visit the church of St. Georges. I can now say I stood on Henry the 8ths grave/ saw where it was . Then we got to go and walk around the castle for a bit. It was quite beautiful and it was a great experience. After that Jordan and I ended up getting lunch at this little pub called Three Tuns. It was great 2 meals for about 9 pounds and then 2 for one deserts. After we finished we met up with the group and headed to Eaton. We did not stay for long but it was nice to hear about this private school and how its only elites (sp) that go there. I think maybe 19 (I could be wrong) prime ministers have gone there. After we were done we headed back to the train station and waited for the train. When we get back to paddington station I thought I had taken out the right ticket I needed. Turned out I was wrong and was having a mini panic attack as I emptied out the contents of my bag in the train station to find the other ticket. Thankfully I found it. It did not help that 30 students would have been waiting if I never found that ticket. But I did and I joined back up with the group. We headed towards our evening event which was the comedy store. It was pretty funny. It was improv night. I had about two drinks and turns out cider is a bit much for me sometimes lol. I was a tad bit tipsy but it was a ton of fun. A professor of ours ended up taking a shot with one of the students and it was just so funny! The show itself was pretty good as well. After that we all went home and I had to get to packing since tomorrow I was going to head off to Scotland!!! =D
