Day 23 2/2/12

Turns out I started this morning by making a bus driver mad. How you ask? Simple. We were at the Orchardson street stop when the bus was very crowded and a lot of people were trying to squeeze there way out of the bus. When one family was trying to squeeze through the bus driver started to close the doors. One man yelled out "bus driver open up the door, open up the door" and so he did. That annoyed the driver. When the mother of the children were walking out she dropped her bag. Well I was by the door and no one else was going to run out to give it to her so I did. Next thing I know is when I run back (not more then a few steps away) I see he closed the door. Thank God Jordan (one of my flatt mates) was looking out for me because she kept ringing the bell so the driver would finally open it up again to let me back in. Oh did I forget to mention I had my suitcase on the bus? Yea well I did because later that day I was going to head straight to the train station to get on my way to Scotland. I stay at Westminister college from 9-4:30pm on Thursdays because I have about 4 classes that day. The driver was annoyed and ended up waiting for like five minutes before he started going again. Oh well I didn't mind I was just glad I was able to get back on the bus. Basically for the whole day until 4:30pm I had my theatre, math, and British life and culture class. So, that is 3 classes in total. At 4:30pm when we were let out Jordan, Krista, Vikki and Amanda and myself headed off to the tube station to get to the train station. We only had one transfer but in total it was maybe a 4 hour train ride. It really was not that bad at all. When we got off at Haymark it took a few minutes to find out hostel. Turns out its a little farther away from the city area then we thought but it still wasn't too bad. My problem was the hill but you'll hear more about that in my next blog.
